Competition between main meniscus and corner film flow during imbibition in a strongly wetting square tube

Imbibition in a strongly wetting square tube with corner flow can be described by an interacting capillary bundle model, where the first sub-capillary describes main meniscus while others describe film flow. In this work, advanced modified model (MICBM) is developed to simulate imbibition dynamics incorporating viscous coupling effect. The conductances of each are obtained from two-phase lattice Boltzmann simulations different viscosity ratios considering After verifying its accuracy, MICBM used analyze and flows under conditions. results show that, increasing ratio between non-wetting fluids driving force, development tends less significant compared Interestingly, length increases then decreases when fluid than long tube.
